Blue was the sweetest girl,
She came into rescue after having a rather rubbish life,
She was an older girl when she came in and went to foster with the lovely pj (paul) who cherished her so much.
She passed away peacefully in her sleep cuddled up to her dad, she has left a hole in all of our hearts 💕
RIP blue, we will always lo
Spike was a favourite here, he originally came in from a lovely home as an older dragon,
Whilst with us he never shown any signs of showing down and his passing shocked us all,
unfortunately he passed away during covid lockdown and our vets couldn't carry out an autopsy due to there only being one vet in the practice at a time :(
Spike really was the most cheeky boy,
We miss you every day!
Lexi sadly didn't even make it into rescue before she gained her wings,
She really was one cade that will stay with us, even though we didn't meet her she stays in our hearts ♥
We came across a Facebook post where someone was asking what to do after they had rescued a bearded dragon some months ago but she really isn't well and they couldn't afford vet treatment,
The thought of her being left just wasn't an option.
We offered to take her sadly with the intention to put her to sleep if the vets agreed to do so,
She had a severely deformed spine, she had broken legs, she had infected wounds, her jaw was mis aligned, she just had no quality of life and was very clearly in pain.
The decision was made to put her to sleep to avoid any further suffering,
We dont know how she ended up like that but it was clear she had been through years of suffering.
It was a truly horrific case for us.
Sleep tight lexi 💔
